Villa Calypso is located in the heart of Batubelig area, where there are plenty of famous restaurants especially the Wild Hog for its ribs and the Watercress for the coffee and healthy dishes. This vacation rental offers you also the proximity from the Seminyak shopping streets, the seaside resort of Bali, and from The Batubelig beach, well-known for its beach front bars and its fabulous sunsets. In other words, this villa is perfectly located!
As you enter to this little peaceful haven, you will discover a pretty tropical garden with a large wooden deck framing the pool that will offer you relaxing moments every day. An outdoor setting featured for our guests who wish to enjoy their breakfast after morning swim or who crave for dinner under the moonlight while enjoying the soothing Balinese atmosphere.
The spacious living room designed and constructed in an open-air style covering kitchen and the sitting room, offers you a comforting view of the lush garden. Feel the vibe through the colorful and sophisticated decoration and let yourself be pampered by this peaceful holiday place.
Both bedrooms are giving the view of the wooden deck and the pool. Each has a private semi outdoor bathroom immersing you in an exotic Balinese environment.

Please remember that Bali is a tropical island with amazing biodiversity. You might see all kinds of exotic and less exotic animals during your trip. Included small insects like ants and mosquitoes as well as harmful small lizards and geckos that are very common in Balinese homes and hotels. Due to the proximity of the rice fields all around Bali, on rare occasions, you might meet a rice field mice or even more rarely a snake (almost all of them are harmless).
We do our best to control the mosquito populations in our villas by doing fumigation twice a month, cleaning the place thoroughly every day and maintain the garden several times a week, unfortunately (or fortunately!) we can't eradicate every living creature. We provide mosquito spray and electric repellent.

Was an excellent stay - absolutely lovely villa, Made our cleaner is gorgeous and nothing was to much to ask, Revi was quick to respond to queries, location is excellent for a quiet stay, which was perfect for us!

This is a beautiful property and me and my family had a great time. The Villa maid / help Komang was exceptionally helpful.
The villa is at a serene and peaceful location, it's a 8-10 mins walk to the restaurants etc and is a bit away from the beach. However, taxis can be called and they know the place. A good idea would be to add 'gang gelatik' to the address if you are calling a taxi.
What needs repair/checking out is the aircons in both rooms. Just did not cool throughout our trip and it does become quite warm in Bali. The office staff couldn't help much as we were told that there is a holiday in between our stay and everything was shut in Bali.
But overall a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

The facility is basically very nice. It is getting on in years and needs renovation in one place or another. The garden is unkempt and the pool has verdigris. The location is good and the main street is within easy walking distance, where there are numerous shops and a few restaurants. There are other vacation homes around the villa. The construction is very noisy and can considerably restrict the peace and quiet at night.
