About this house rental
OCEANFRONT Salvo - Colony Drive - Welcome to CHEERIO, a spectacular oceanfront home with amazing panoramic views and easy access to a stunning beach, representative of the Outer Banks at its very best. The ground level is home to the private pool area featuring the hot tub and an outdoor kitchen with gas grill and refrigerator surrounded by granite countertops; there are also two charcoal grill stations adjoining the pool area. Pool loungers, chairs and outside dining furniture (seating 10) completes this spacious outdoor living space.
Inside on the first level is a large game room with full wet bar, pool table, foosball, arcade game, and big screen TV. On this level there is also a full bathroom and two bedrooms, one with two sets of bunks and one with two double beds. On the mid-level, find four oceanfront master bedrooms. Each bedroom offers oceanfront views and sliding glass door access to the shaded decks where you can relax with the ocean breezes and admire the view from your personal hammock.
The great room features a home theater system with large screen TV and sound bar. Create culinary spreads in the large kitchen with custom cabinetry, expansive black granite countertops and high-end appliances, including a second dishwasher. An adjacent dining area leads to an additional outdoor dining area/screened porch. We rented this house for April Vacation with 6 adults and our 6 boys 13 and under. Upon arrival - the house was immaculate and even better than the pictures. While Salvo is an hour south of the busy OBX area - we really enjoyed the quiet without busy crowds. The kids loved the heated pool, game room, playing soccer and football on the beach, and ended each day alllll the way up in the crows nest watching movies or sports. The adults loved the ease of going to the beach, the well equipped kitchen, and the many master bedrooms. This was our first time in OBX and we’ll definitely be back!

House was nice and location was great.
Two of the larger beds had urine stains on the pads/bedding. Got an apology but nothing else and for the price point I would hope for a better outcome.
Booking process is not as easy as a normal VRBO booking
