Brock Cottage

The art work in the cottage is truly amazing and was a delightful feature of our stay. The blend of traditional and modern décor was superb. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable throughout. There is one family bathroom with toilet and one separate toilet. We were a group of two couples and one teenager and this was fine. The bedrooms are lovely, the loft room with two single beds is perfect for children and teenagers. A Lovely cottage.

When we arrived, there was rubbish all over the front lawn. I was also disappointed to find that the wood burner did not function. I had enquired about this prior to our visit but got no response. I would also point out the socket on the wall in the dinning room is coming away from the wall and the aerial socket in the TV is rusted. A little TLC is perhaps needed in this property. The outside party lights looked very nice and would have been better if we could have turned them on. Parking cost me about £30 for three nights.

The house is great, plenty of space, nice finishings and clean. It's also very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. The location is great, right next to the beach and close to the coast path. Couldn't fault it at all!

A very minor point, it could do with a new stairgate, the existing one keeps coming away from the wall and the noise probably annoys the neighbours.

it’s not soundproof u hear the neighbours the whole time running about and slamming doors, which woke us early everyday. not very clean in the bathroom and kitchen
