Great location for what we needed. It was also homely, quiet, and well equipped. The host left us to it which was awesome although luckily I'm not waiting for a response to a call or text I sent! We would stay again if we are back in the area in future.
Few niggles but nothing that made the stay uncomfortable - not having a remote control for the tv in the lounge (had been lost by the previous occupier and new one was on order) meant having to talk to each other so that was good ;) A slat on a bed broke, again not a major issue - I just moved it to the end of the bed after all the laughing had died down!

The location was amazing, very quiet and peaceful. The house is very spacious and the beds were so comfortable.
The house is quite run down and nothing seemed to work. The toilets didn't flush properly and the toilet adjacent to the living room is very smelly.
The en-suit shower made an unbelievable racket when you turned it on, also the toilet was difficult to flush, and the shower screen doors weren't closing properly 😳
The oven also made a loud banging noise when you turned it on, it felt like the fan was going to come off so didn't end up using it.
The log burner hadn't been cleared out before my arrival so didn't end up using that and the towls all smelt of smoke.
