Great location but some downsides

Location was great in centre of Beddgelert. Pubs, shops and restaurants very convenient. Lovely kitchen, well equipped with a nice communal table.

No towels - seems very tight given amount paid. Would be nice to have had a later leaving time than 9, particularly with parents in their 80s. Parking not ideal with more than one car - particularly at weekends. Nowhere to sit outside although there is a pub right next door. Sitting room furniture needs a rethink - mismatched and some not very comfortable

There were very few kitchen items - e.g only one bowl per person. No salt, pepper, cooking oil etc., no logs provided and limited dishwasher tablets. It was also chilly, but was a particularly cold weekend.

Superb

Whoever the cleaner is, he or she is to be commended. The place was spotlessly clean. Might i suggest some air fresheners though as the housr smelt very stale n stuffy when we first arrived.

The outside area is shockingly weedy and overgrown. Weeds everywhere up the side driveway and along to gravel at the back of the house. I had to snap some long branches near the overflowing brown wheelie bin on the parking spot so as not to scratch our car doors. The front garden area probably used to be beautiful and it's such a shame because it's so overgrown and it would have been really lovely to have had a garden seat and area to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening drink in the sunshine. I also think that 9am required departure is unusual (whilst ok for us)and would have been far too early for most people and that 5am arrival is far later than anywhere else we've ever been.

Bad

This cottage like you rented a Mercedes benz s class with damage engine, I booked this place for full week and suppose to have a nice time, when we reached this cottage we found a note that washing machine broken! We didn’t being informed about this issue neither not provided any alternative option we called the agency and they did nothing, finally we decided to check out earlier. It was totally a bad time we spent and a careless action from both the agency and the owner, furthermore it is the worse check in and check out timing ever seen. Check in 5PM and check out 9AM. Please think twice before they spoil your holiday!

Great place to stay near Snowdon

The property is in a great location for exploring Snowdonia with many great walks you can do directly from the house. The house itself is clean and comfortable and of a high standard.

Very central location. Cottage is well heated and feels cosy.

Limited crockery in the cottage. No bedlinen as the owners ask you to bring your own.

De sfeer in het huis.

Voortuin verwaarloosd, overal onkruid, afvalbakken staan rommelig middn in de voortuin, geen buitenterrasje om te zitten. Zou met wat onderhoud heel goed kunnen. Keukenkastjes ruiken muf, daardoor servies en glazen ook. Alles eerst in de afwasmachine gedaan. Regelmatig luchten zou helpen. Uitchecktijd is 9.00u, vinden we te vroeg, nog nooit ergens tegen gekomen. 10.00u zou netter zijn. Moesten zelf alle bedden afhalen. Voor het bedrag dat we betaalden €354 per nacht vinden we dit niet passend.
