Comfortable and relaxing property in very good well equipped condition. Recommended.

House is in excellent condition with quality furniture and facilities. All in all very pleased with the property and location.

The stairs are very steep with a tight turn at the top with a low ceiling. I knocked my head a couple of times and I am only 5ft 8inches (1.76) metres. Also the stairs are very narrow as they make the turn.

Interesting old cottage with some real history

Lovely old cottage in a quiet location. Huge, well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bedrooms, heating etc all good.

Water leak from the towel rail dripped through the lounge light fitting, but the plumber who was sent round did an excellent job. A bit of a wasp infestation as well. The pest man came round twice but was unable to find how they were getting into the the hall and lounge. I got stung one night. On site car parking is extremely tight if you have anything other than a small car as there's a shed built in the end of the car port. My car hung out and made it difficult for the neighbours to get in and out. Despite all of this, we actually would come again because of the positives.

Pretty cottage spoilt by the aggressive owner.!

The cottage was clean and comfortable.

On the last day we left the property 10 minutes later then the required 10am departure time. One of our party was ill and so we were delayed. The cleaner/ owner was outside in her car waiting. She was very rude, aggressive and abusive. She would not move her car making it difficult for us to leave the property. BEWARE. Thankfully I have never met a host who has behaved in this manner before. You need to be careful on the stairs as the ceiling is low. You can bang your head if you are not careful.

Super choice for a break in glorious Dorset.

We were only there for two nights but this excellent property would be a very comfortable base for a longer stay. Extremely well equipped including lovely, big, fluffy towels! Ample parking for two cars (in carport and drive). All of the rooms are a good size and beautifully furnished.

Steep staircase and low ceiling mean care needed and so property is not suitable for those with limited mobility or young children.

Very good

It was comfortable, cosy and roomy enough for the three of us.

We felt that it wasn’t really set up for a lot of catering. Due to Covid, we cooked all our meals. We had to go and buy oven gloves and T-towels. One T-towel really wasn’t enough for a week! Also, we were not convinced it been deep cleaned after the last visitors.
