Résidence Châteauneuf

Clean, contemporary, large apartment which was ideal for my family of four. There were two bathrooms both with showers. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Kitchen well equipped with everything required for our stay. There were two sofas beds (one double and one single) Mattresses were of good quality. Separate bedroom with two single beds and a single sofa bed. There was a nice spacious balcony next to the bedroom and an additional balcony next the living room. Air conditioning in all rooms which was welcoming with the heat in August. Central to everything - bakery 2 mins away, old town 10 min walk, train station 5 mins walk. Nearest beach 10mins walk. The concierge was also very welcoming and helpful with any queries we had for the area. I would stay here again next time we are in Menton.

The main hob did not work. Think there is a fault. We also only received 3 towels for a family of 4. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

keys were in lockbox for our late arrival as promised. comfy bed, reasonably clean, lack of facilities, no bottle opener or microwave although there was a coffee machine. had trouble locating someone to pay our local tax and sort out check out but did get an extra hours grace on leaving time. overall value for money but quite basic.

nothing was that bad to complain

Location - close to travel = rail and bus

The floors where not clean. For example - f I walked around with socks, the bottom of th sock and my feet where dirty. There where extra pillows, but no extra pillow cases. The extra blankets looked in need to cleaning. The shower head was loose and would not stay in a position suitable for showering.
