We booked through Agoda because it was *** cheaper than *** and included breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Our room (***) was extremely small, with barely enough space for a medium-sized suitcase, but it had a large balcony and a beautiful sea view. No street noise at all. The location is unbeatable, the beach is just across the street, and the pedestrian zone and old town start right at the hotel entrance.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the girls at reception. Breakfast was varied and excellent. The hotel has a beautiful 19th-century atmosphere, and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in.
The only negative was a 6:00 AM call from reception on check-out day asking if we wanted to extend our stay. The phone rings like a nuclear attack, so after that we couldn't fall asleep again!
Despite that, 9/10 mainly because of the location, breakfast, historic charm and fantastic bed. We would happily return.

My 17 year old daughter and I spent a week in Menton and can highly recommend the Balmoral where we stayed for 5 nights as well as the Westminster where we stayed for 4 nights. Both offered a perfect location opposite the beach and were ideal for our trip-thank you!

Nice sea view but balcony has no privacy and noisy motorcycles from the street along the sea even late at night. Sheet was not changed from previous guest. It has sands on it.
