Great location, shame about everything else.

The room was very large and the location was fantastic: just across the road from the train station. We saw the hotel as soon as we came out of the station.

We were in a room where the WiFi did not work AT ALL at any point in our stay (the hotel staff could not move us because there were no free rooms, and told us we were "just unlucky"). We would attempt to connect and get 1 bar of signal on which no web page at all loaded, and then even that would disappear entirely. The entryway had a light that was activated by a motion sensor but it was a very short time limit and turned off in less than 5 seconds, so putting on/taking off shoes was more of a chore than usual. It wasn't even enough time to lock and unlock the door! The breakfast was disappointing for the price: €10,5 for overripe (black) bananas, cheese and ham, very minimal bread, and yoghurt. Not even drinking water was available at the breakfast buffet, and the milk from the coffee machine tasted strange.

Great location near the train station of Rennes

The hotel was really nice. The room was nice, with the usual amenities of hotel rooms. The breakfast had all the necessary products, with good quality. If you need to use the train/bus station, this hotel has the best location, because its really close to it.

The wifi is bad. I would suggest you depend on your esim internet.

OK hotel to spend one or two nights

The location was very convenient. The staff was friendly.

No AC and the ventilator was rather noisy. The bed was comfortable but rather small for 2 people. The breakfast was fine, with limited options however.

It's a wonderful place

Its a wonderful experience. The hotel location is good, room was clean and hotel staff's behaviour was so nice. For a short trip I think its a perfect location to stay at Rennes.

This is a lovely traditional French hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is perfectly located for a late arrival or early departure by train, and an easy pleasant walk to the pretty historic centre of Rennes.

Not really negatives, given the excellent value for money and charm but the decor is reasonably basic and a little old fashioned, deadlock keys for the rooms (much easier than a scan card, but means you need to keep an eye on where you keep it - as you need it to leave the room).

Its a friendly private town centre / railway hotel I have used before. Its ground floor bar area is being renovated

Its an old building and the sound proofing in corridors isnt the best. the coffee machines are new, a good idea, and not that frequent in France, but mine wouldn't heat the water.

Close to the station. The man at reception was very lovely and happy to help with any questions we had.

We had to leave our key in a basket at the door as you leave, just felt unsecure. Also only 2 thin pillows so was very uncomfortable to sit up in bed

We stayed in this hotel on the hottest day of the year - the hotel had informed us it was not air conditioned but nothing was offered in replacement- no fan - one of rooms we stayed in the window did not even open - it was like a sauna - none of the family got any sleep because of the heat!
