We had an excellent time at our apartment in the Chalet. Everything was superb - really well-appointed and comfortable, great mountain views, quiet, and everyone at both the Chalet and at the Hotel V de Vaujany was so kind and welcoming. We used the Bain Nordique every evening at the Hotel for a small extra fee - really recommend that after a day's skiing! - and ate at the Bistro d'Ida there several times as it was so good, and the ambience perfect.
Nothing - it was great.

Excellent location with good parking and under cover parking if required. The chalet is spacious with good facilities and a laundry room which was very useful.

Confort, facilities and decoration of the appartment was excellent.
Nice people at reception, many free facilities (sauna, nordic bath, hamam)
Since there is an new hotel which belongs to the same organization, the reception is not any longer in the same building as the appartment.
Booking breads for breakfast was not very efficient.

The people are SUPER nice and willing to help. The photos for my apartment were exactly as it was in reality. Nice furnishings- modern yet location appropriate and comfortable. Comfortable bed and nice sheets. Beautiful to see the waterfall when I stood and looked out the window. It was very clean when I arrived. Great to have a kitchen in Vaujany- IDA is AWESOME but the other restaurants did not have great reviews/appealing menus. Nice to have a washer/dryer downstairs and the lounge area is great! I parked my car when I arrived and walked the remainder of the time- exactly what I wanted. Super nice walks, loved the gondola and the lakes. Very friendly people in the village.
I am super reliant on reviews when I travel so I will be honest: I was seduced by the bigger, brighter apartments on the site, I reserved last minute- so fully my fault that it was smaller/darker (and no balcony) than I hoped for. The listing was accurate- it is not one of the bigger flats, it the mistake is fully mine. I am not sure I would have paid as much for this size of place had I inquired with time to get an answer- again this is me, not them. In my home I am used to space and light- it wasn't there. It was only me and my dog and I still had to do a bit of a dance sometimes to get around- no idea how this would work with 3 people. It was quiet for the first 3 nights, then a huge family came and kept slamming the door right next to the flat as it was right next to the entrance. Thank you- whoever you are- for being quiet once I said something but it never feels nice to do this. No one is at reception ever. And they do respond by sms but they are also very busy/not always on location. I waited for 1 hour in my car to get in the flat- because they are down the big hill at another location and I didn't know this. So if were to recommend to a friend, I would say- make absolutely certain you know where to pick up the keys- probably it is at a hotel/restaurant when you enter town NOT at the location up the steep hill. The only food market in town is average if I am kind. If you like food, stop at a market before you arrive. I finally found salt and pepper in the laundry room. No information given about location of laundry/soap. There were a lot of little things like this that for apartments labeled "luxury" I would expect to be there- no olive oil, you have to pay for coffee capsules. I paid for 4 nights what friends pay for their flat in Turin for 1 month- is it a lot to ask for coffee and sugar and olive oil and information without always asking? I think the staff has great intentions but they are stretched.
