Marilena Sunset Villa 2

Een mooie ruime villa met een prachtig uitzicht. Lekker bij de massa’s mensen vandaan. Ontzettend genoten met 4 volwassenen en 4 kinderen. Vriendelijke eigenaar ook!

We misten een parasol om schaduw te creëeren. Verder alles in orde!

Huge pool, great size villa, stunning views, beautiful part of Cyprus and very quiet and peaceful. We woke up and looked out over a poppy meadow. Enjoyed bbqs watching the sunset. Walked to the bakery in the morning and had a brilliant stay. Visited Pomos and Kuollas sandwich spot. We paid extra for pool heating which was definitely worth it in April, lovely 26 degrees so we could make full use of it during our stay.

It was perfect for us so nothing we didn’t like. For future visitors you definitely need a hire car here. There are also energy saving features so you need to remember to switch on hot water heating for a bit before showering. No trouble though and good for the environment. I would advise stopping at one of the larger supermarkets in Paphos or Polis on the way to stock up before arriving as the nearer shops are a bit smaller.

Great location, very spacious and comfortable. The pool was great, wonderful sunset views ( and sunrise over the mountains)

Beautiful location and sea view from the property. En suit bathrooms in every room. We were allowed a 2 hours later check out.

Overall the inside of the house was not very clean. The furniture was very old and smelly. The sofas are there but can be barely used to sit on them. The sofa "pillows " are sinking into the metal structure of the sofa, it is very uncomfortable almost unbearable to sit on them. The throws are old and smelly. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, very hard and produce very loud and disturbing noise each time you turn or move in general. The pillows remind of a folded bed sheet more than of an actual pillow, very thin and hard (had a serious pain in the neck). The lighting throughout the house is very dim (like the most economic light bulbs are used everywhere). The kitchen is insufficiently stuffed with kitchenware (e.g. there was not a single cutting board). The overall cleanliness was poor, there was a pile of hair in one of the children's bathrooms. The swimming pool was quite foggy upon our arrival, which was corrected when we managed to reach the owner to clean it (while we were told that it was already crystal clear, and still it became much cleaner afterwards). Generally the pool, apart from its size, was not the best experience.
