The owner and staff are very friendly and so passionate about looking after their guests. Beautiful garden, The room has everything you will need and if you are into the Royal Family they have lots of interesting memorabilia

Very warm welcome at the pub by the owner and her friends. Nice traditional pub inside and out. Room was a good size for the 3 of us. Massive garden outside, would be great for kids to run around. Owner kindly offered to take us to the party we were going to, to avoid the taxi fare.

The only thing we found was that the bathroom is very narrow, but fine for the one night we stayed.

Really friendly welcome from Sheila. She had thoughtfully pulled the blinds down in the room we had booked and opened the windows. It was the hottest day of the year! The room was clean, the availability of tea, coffee biscuits - and bottled water - was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. We decided to eat in the restaurant that evening and Sheila spent a little while finding us the coolest place to sit and eat. That was kind. We did not book breakfast as we wanted to leave very early next morning to avoid travelling in the heat. Again this was no problem.

My freshly cooked to order breakfast was very well cooked and presented. I was asked on several occasions if everything was ok - which it was.

The shower didn't have any hot water from the mixer bar, and apparently it does work but is very temperamental!
