About this apartment rental
Studio apartment with full kitchen and bath located in Mill Valley. This cute apartment, is conveniently located and makes a great home base from which to stage your bay area vacation. We are close to downtown Mill Valley, Sausalito and Larkspur, 15 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge, 30 minutes to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach, and 1 hour to Napa. The apartment is tucked into a suburban house in a quiet neighborhood close to useful amenities, Mount Tamalpais and local hiking trails, world class mountain and road biking. Take a five minute walk up the hill to a trail system that wanders along the ridge and boasts big views of San Francisco and the Oakland Bay Bridge.
Street parking is easily available. There are 15 steps down to the unit. There is free wifi and Netflix and a DVD player but there is no cable TV. The kitchen is well appointed with a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and coffee maker.

Nice room, it had a ‘damp-rid’ odor, but not a mildew odor. It is an older home, so a typical smell. Shower curtain was mildewy. Bed had no top sheet, but I found one in the chest of drawers. Otherwise, the duvet cover was clean, but polyester feeling. Lots of pillows to choose from. Bath was modern. Deck was private, nice view. Kitchen was stocked well enough. Fridge was small, but kept ice cream fairly hard. A lovely location. Near Whole Foods and a couple restaurants. Owner communicated well.

I enjoyed staying at Tim’s place. It had everything you need and was so close to town.

The room had all the necessities. Needed a bit more cleaning. The owners half of the house was quiet, however, the neighbor’s construction began every day at 7:15 am. Not what I wanted to wake up to on vacation.
