Thornton Beach Bungalows Daintree

Amazing host and location. Everything you need inside the bungalow. Bring your own food to cook at least one night. Daintree Siesta is a recommendation for dinner. Beds and shower were super nice as well.

A little bit more space to put clothes/luggage would have been nice

We loved our stay at Thornton Beach bungalows . Everything we needed was supplied. Jodie and Dean were amazing hosts. Highlight was seeing Cassowary’s the amazing forest walks and beach. Bonus eatery across the road . Best fish and chips !!

We loved having a whole house to ourselves. The furniture, decor, kitchenware and little extra supplies exceeded our expectations. We felt relaxed and enjoyed cooking our own meals. We also enjoyed sitting outside and looking across the road to the beach. Parking was easy and we could walk across the road to the beach. The property is set back from the road that goes to other attractions in the area. The host is very friendly and willingly shares lots of local information. The garden is delightful and we got to see birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

The nearby beaches were so beautiful to walk along but you can't swim because crocodiles may be around. Warning signs are helpful and the host gave us lots of information about wildlife in the area.

Location, close to beach, BBQ supplied

BBQ was the only cooking method, we were asked (reasonably) to wash the pots and pans. However there wasn't a sink only a plastic bowl hanging outside, nowhere to hang clothes, the lighting near the BBQ was poor.
