    The Daintree rainforest is a stunning area with not much choice in accommodation, so I think we picked really well for our 3 night break. This place has 2 small bungalows and a 3 bed house, just opposite Thornton beach. The bungalows have outside barbeques undercover, with everything you need, lights, gas, utensils, cooking oil, salt & Pepper. The owners are really friendly and happy to chat, giving advise on places to see and tips on local wildlife spotting. We had a fantastic couple of days here.

    The bungalow was in excellent condition and maintained very well. You can feel the jungle while listening to the night and enjoy at the beach or the many pathways in reach. Furthermore, the owner was very kind and welcoming throughout the visit.

    Stayed one night and loved it. It takes maybe 20 seconds to walk to the beach, nice parking right in front of the bungalow, super clean, wonderfully quiet at night, nice birdsong in the morning. So much to like. The only downside was the tap water. The info booklet said it's safe to drink but the water had a light brownish tint so had to get by on what little I had brought a bottle. It was probably fine to drink but didn't take a chance. Overall loved the place, I would definitely stay again
