Hotel is in very good location near to the main spots in Tainan, you can also reach it conveniently with H31 shuttle bus from HSR station for free.
We enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of options and good taste.
Fitness centre is classic, for lifters unfortunately not sufficient, but for cardio good enough.
We really appreciated complementary 24h self-laundry service.
Room was nice and clean.
Staff was really nice, always smiling, although to my surprise, no English proficiency - not an issue, just a note for the others.
Noise from the corridor, specifically the room doors closing, it is really noisy, in addition we had really bad luck, since our neighbour was opening and closing the door permanently from the early morning.
There was lot of limescale in the bathroom, could use some more cleaning.

Everything was very nice about our stay at Fuward Hotel. All the details! The room was very comfortable, there was a free laundry-room, the breakfast was good, the location is very central in Tainan, and the staff were really friendly and nice.

great location across Hayashi dept store; waking distance to noodle place; very clean; free laundry washer/dryer—even provide detergent; helpful clerks who spoke English, ordered Taxis, even went out to speak to drivers to make sure they knew where we wanted to go; free slippers; heated toilet seat & heated bidet water; free buffet breakfast—lots of choices, Chinese (siomai, duck egg, fish, roasted chicken) & Western dishes (pizza, pesto, porridge), dessert yogurt, tea jelly with mango sauce; lovely coffee machine with lots of choices—so tried them all: Espresso, Americano, latte, mocha, etc.; quiet, doors so thick; comfortable beds; like desk & chair
Can’t think of anything. As we left, a cleaning worker killed a cockroach in the lobby, near the front door. 2 thumbs up for that quick action

The stay was okay. The price was fine and the photos match the room you get, so it feels fair. Friendly staff.
The bed was quite small. I don’t understand hotels with a room for two people that only have one chair.
