Lied about the pool

Bay view and very close to the board walk

They said they had a pool but after i booked my stay they messaged me and said it was out of order and i couldn't cancel

Great area but Human Feces next to your face is a hard pass.

The area was amazing and is always exactly what was expected. We have been staying in the embarcadero for over 10 years now and love it every single time. We have never had an issue with one of their rooms until now.

Everything was filthy on arrival from the baseboards to the dishes which all needed to be rewashed before using them again. But by far the worst was the human feces smeared on the white shower curtain right about face level while you are using the restroom. That was a hard thing to get over. Unfortunately looking to your left in the same position you are met with a smear of blood on the white wall. This was enough to have my wife done with the place and helped open our eyes to how nothing was really cleaned, just placed back where it needed to be for the next renter. Vacasa homes is not a place to rent from if this is there standard. Embarcadero is an amazing place to be, just don't rent this one if you like clean places. {I took plenty of photos of this, Vacasa has been informed. I feel its wrong to post such nasty things on the sites like this so I wont be including them}

Beautiful view, comfy beds, really hot water. Washer & dryer included, although we didn’t use them.

Carpet needs to be cleaned and the bathroom had not been cleaned, there was hair in the bathtub 😝

What breakfast?

Walls are dirty, needs re-painting, no kleenex, no coffee, toilet doesn't work, couldn't keep wifi connected on tv/roku-finally gave up. Rugs are a disaster (shabby, old/worn, warped) we rolled them up to keep from tripping on them. Stove too old-wouldn't trust using it, no patio table on balcony as pictured, poor selection of games. For the price of this luxury condo-couldn't you have furnished some Breakfast bars? Biscotti? Snack mix? Bed too large for 2nd bedroom -couldn't navigate getting in/out.

This unit was awesome- From the view, decor, amenities and price. It was furnished and supplied with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was also clean and nicely decorated. The only complaint would be how uncomfortable the beds were.

Will never book through Vacasa again.

The view. That’s it

We just finished our stay at Embarcadero in Newport Oregon. We stayed in room B405. The room is managed by Vacasa, NOT Embarcadero. When we first walked into the room, we noticed immediately how filthy the carpets are (see pics). As we walked the rooms, we realized how unkept this condo really was. The smaller bedroom had stains on the sheets. The bedroom door does not close. The bathtub is gross, the ceiling in the bathroom has mold. The toilet only flushed when you mess with it. Next to the oven is disgusting. (See pics). There’s no air conditioning (which was not known) and if you use the dryer, it vents IN the condo, making it so hot/humid you can’t stay in there, especially on hot days like we had. The beds are DEFINITELY the worst we have ever slept in. We brought another couple and this whole situation has been so embarrassing, especially when your guests tell you they are worried to walk bare footed on the carpet. We have traveled a lot for work and leisure and never paid this kind of money for such a dump. I left Vacasa a message the first day, explaining we are not to be held liable for this wreck of a condo. And received no reply. We will not stay there again and will never use Vacasa again.

nicely decorated - a lot of things to do when the weather was bad.

beds were horrible and the bath tub drain was plugged and draining very slowly. the bathroom sink also drained slow and there was dried food on the floor in the living area. the couch was uncomfortable despite pillows from the beds that we added.

I love the view however the balcony is not covered so we were not able to be outside very much due to the rain. Having a washer and dryer was handy.

the service is horrible. I would be on long holds and most of the time did not get a hold of staff. I messaged and got a reply the last day of our stay (5 days later). there was a pillow with and very wet, I believe there was a leak somewhere so every time we stepped we would get put socks wet, both bedrooms had heaters, the living room where the pull out couch is located had a fireplace that we were not allowed to use. so it was very cold at night. the bathroom door is a weird one that slides and it did not close so that made it a little uncomfortable. one of the decorative pillows on the pull out bed had old dry blood on it. and the hardest part was getting a hold of someone. I would ask at the front desk and no one could help me and asked to call Vacasa.

I like that the property is right by the marina and the main strip where all the shops and restaurants are at. I love waking up to the view of the water and boats that are docked at the marina.

This is my second time staying at the Embarcadero and it’s sad to say it’ll be my last. The first time we stayed, we had neighbors with a dog that barked really loud and we could hear almost all their conversations. Either the walls were thin or they were just really loud. The fact that our room was right off the entrance didn’t help either. The Queen bed was also not a Queen. It was actually a Full size so made it uncomfortable to sleep in with my 6ft husband. Our second time staying here wasn’t great either. Rooms were by the entrance. Bathroom was filthy. It smelled like urine because the shower curtain was pink with scum. It looked like it had not been changed in months. The tiles in the shower were brown. The drained was clogged. And the washer/dryer was broken. I specifically booked the place because we had a small baby with us and needed the washer/dryer. He pooped through his clothes the first night we were there (Thurs)and couldn’t wash his clothes til we got home Sat.
