お風呂が3種あり、とてもいいお湯で、 ご飯も美味しく、とても楽しめました。 また、お部屋での喫煙可能なところが喫煙者にとってはとても有難かった。

お部屋の空調の効きが甘く、少し寒かった。 温風機が置いてあったので助かりました。

夕食がとても美味しかった。貴賓室にランクアップされ、思わぬところで贅沢感を味わえた。

浴衣だけではなく作務衣みたいに動きやすい館内着もあるといいな。

The interior was gorgeous. Custom wood paneling throughout. We stayed in a traditional room which was very spacious and quiet. In our room rate there was included both a large breakfast buffet and kaiseki set course dinner. The quality of the food was very good overall. A few items were exceptional, a fair number were just fine. The purpose of our stay was to have a relaxing break in between visiting lively urban areas. You come here for the onsen experience. Hard to beat relaxing in warm mineral springs, indoors and out. The Ryokan is about 15 years old. The sister property (Bassho Seiryukan) is newer more expensive and more exclusive. It appears to have more onsen pools on grounds. You do not have access to the neighboring property. Compared to other onsen towns, baths at other facilities were less accessable (that is, here you need to use a shuttle to access them). We were here for one full and two half days,.so using just this Ryokans onsens was more than adequate.

Distance from other onsen. Lack of a town center to explore. For our purposes, however, this was not a big deal. We were content to spend all our time here relaxing.
