10 / 10Outstanding·May 2026
Had everything we needed. Bed, private bath with hairdryer and a mini refrigerator. Close to catch buses nearby and only 20 minute walk to Roma Termini train station. On the street block had places to eat breakfast and a mini grocery store.
Didn’t actually have a hotel counter. Had to go to 5th floor to checkin at a small area. Agent was super friendly though. Also, there is a major renovation across street so noisy if you try to sleep in.

Although the accommodation was not within very close walking distance of the city center, there were several bus lines running frequently with stops very close to the property, connecting easily to many areas of interest across Rome. The room was warm and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, good pillows, and large towels, which we appreciated. The neighborhood was also very convenient, with many cafés, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, and bars nearby, and it felt like a safe area as there are several embassies located close to the property.
One issue was related to cleanliness, as during the first room service only the towels were changed while the trash was not removed and the bed sheets were not replaced. Additionally, during our four-night stay the sheets were never changed, which is unusual based on common hospitality practices. Another major problem was the Wi-Fi, which did not work at all during our stay, forcing us to use and even purchase additional mobile data, while communication with the manager regarding this issue felt somewhat uncomfortable.

Location, staff and clean. Bed comfy.
Window almost falling out of the frame. Really needs a lick of paint. Shower not the best.

The area felt safe. We liked having a kitchen and coffee maker. Walk to bus stop and grocery was about 5 to 10 minutes. Staff was friendly. AC worked well. Rooms are so expensive in Rome which is why we booked this one; it was more "reasonably" priced. The shower size and shower heads are nice.
The listing is advertised as having a bedroom and living room, but there is only a bedroom with a desk (like a hotel room), though there is a separate kitchen with eating area (but no separate living room). There is major construction happening across the street that is probably years from being complete. Work begins by 7:00 am and is incredibly noisy, so we did not open the windows. While it does have an elevator, there are two sets of doors that must be manually closed in order to operate; if a guest does not close them just right, the elevator will not operate. We had to go up and down 5 flights of stairs several times throughout our stay when this happened. The hall light is on a timer and shuts off after about 1 minute, leaving the hall in complete darkness upon entering or exiting. You have to find a very dimly lit switch on the wall to turn the light on; additionally, our room was at the end of a hallway and the lighting was so bad, even after turning the light on, that we had to use our phones to light up the lock in order to be able to put the key in. There is a washing machine in the room, but 1. the cabinet is built around it and the detergent compartment cannot be opened, and 2. there is no drying rack to dry clothes; in fact, when we asked about the washer, they recommended we go to a laundromat because they said the clothes don't dry well in the room. Internet was unstable. There are no electrical outlets near the bed even though the listing says there are (we even looked behind the bed).
