Blackwattle Farm

Our stay was amazing, we were lucky enough to have Bre look after our stay and she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. One of our favourite places we have stayed to date.

Loved every bit

Awesome accommodation, location, feeding of the animals, staff, was clean etc. I couldn't recall anywhere on the booking.com page saying about drop toilets. We'll anyway on the positive they were probably the cleanest and least smelly I've ever seen haha. The facilities were awesome, the deck, the BBQ, the fire pit. We had a ball.

On the last day we were told feeding of the animals was between 8 and 8:30. We got there and waited for 45min. When we located someone they said it was done earlier then the usual. Its nothing major but our 5yr old was pretty psyched it for it. Overall an awesome stay and would stay again and we recommend to others.

We are returning customers and love the farm. The kids enjoy the open space, yet it's also so private. We stay with friends across the two tiny homes. Breakfast is included in the stay. Fire pits are great during winter. Breakfast feeding time is wonderful. Clear nights with a sky full of stars!

We love our stays here. Would love an outdoor lounge for the deck at Garden tiny home to relax in the sunshine and read a book, that's it!

Loved meeting Emma and feeding the animals, seeing all the animals and engaging with the farm. The kids had a blast and kept asking to see more of the animals. Communication was excellent. The farm is very well maintained, has a beautiful outlook and surrounds. The animals are lovely and the dogs are super friendly. Would return just to visit the farm again. Kids room was fantastic with toys and fluffy animals.

Unfortunately we didn't have reception or WiFi when we first arrived and this was a big issue for my husband who needs to be contactable for work. I would have expected wifi to be included if the area is known for its reception issues. Expected a bit more from the breakfast - I. E. One litre of milk between four people for three days didn't go far and one tub of yoghurt. Also did expect to have access to shampoo and conditioner and a bar of soap at least for the price we were paying, not just body wash. Also had to ration the toilet paper. I think just more supplies food and toiletries wise in the cabin would be great for future to make the stay more comfortable. Bath can do with an upgrade - difficult for kids and those with mobility issues to enter due to high sides, rocked and moved under weight. Perhaps just a shower put in would be ideal for all guests and fit more into the aesthetic of the bathroom.
