location superb, in the centre of the Rostock at the edge of the old town, very atmospheric and safe. very quite location, steep stairs
breakfast was great, good filter coffee as expected in Germany
communication via Booking.com app was very difficult and not satisfying, when I tried to email the accommodation, I did not always get replies in time. I needed to get access codes for late check in. the codes were sent eventually, but only about 2 hours before arrival, which left me feeling very unsure if everything was in place at the right time. I also had to ring twice to clarify arrangements for late check in and for breakfast early next morning. Not great. I'm not sure if the nault was with booking.com or the hostel staff.

Great location near a tram stop and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very tidy and spacious.

Beautiful old building and architecture. Close to train station and trams. Loved the full kitchen.
I had a room on the 3rd floor, it has one central toilet and no shower on the floor. I’m all for sharing a shower, but you had to go up or down one floor to shower. Forwarn, since old building there is no elevator and lots of stairs. Not a handicapped faculty.
