Beautifully classically styled rooms in an otherwise somewhat bleak apartment building. Exceptionally accommodating staff, including early checkin, tea kettle, local recommendations, and even tickets to the opera from earlier guests who canceled.
The rooms are beautiful but to get to them you will have to pass a regular old apartment building entrance, so it may not impress your party right away. The bathrooms are somewhat modestly designed, in a contrast to royally furnished carpeted rooms. The rooms are comfortable for staying but might not be that comfortable for working (low chairs and/or low tables) and eating (no mini-fridge).

Central to all the sights, shopping and restaurants we visited
Room #14 was located in the front of the building street view and you heard all the outside noise of the street. Very old building and furniture and very tiny room.
