The room was spacious and high quality.
When we arrived, offered room 2 floors up (we are in our 70's) and offered luxury room next to lounge/bar in basement at additional cost of £38.95. Considering proximity to Heathrow, feel original price on website was very reasonable and attractive. The room was good but we felt the owner who was very chatty was intent on getting more money from us. Limited seating in bar area,

room was clean and tidy. wifi worked well. good sized hot shower.
6 / 10Average·Oct 2026
Bedding was clean. Tea and coffee provided. Nice and local to visit our son. Close to town. There were a few issues, but basically if you want a central base with bed and shower, it was fine.
The towels were clean, but appeared to have rust marks (brown/orange) on them. The hand held shower attachment was broken, needed to hold it together to use. Shelf in the shower was crooked, so unable to use. Shower temperature control knob came off in my hand. Towel rail was very rusty. The door to the bathroom opened and hit the side of the bed.
