I have traveled a lot both world wide for business and four months on the road each year, I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Clean tidy spaces rooms, good location and an excellent breakfast. The host was a warm friendly guy who spoke good English and went out of his way to accommodate. All hotels should be like this.

It was very nice. The hosts are amazing - such an amazing sense of humour.

The breakfast was delicious. Prepared with much love. The breakfast was very tasty and lovingly prepared. A very varied selection of cheeses, cold meats, eggs to order, fruit, yoghurt, müesli, honey etc. The hosts were very friendly and replenished the buffet constantly. Freshly brewed coffee, newspapers and the daily weather forecast too. They served us with humour and made us feel very welcome. Parking available directly on the premises.

Warm welcome and quiet nice place. Great service and customer care. Andelsbuch is great for hiking, visiting local towns and places of interest. Guesthouse Pension Barbara is very good choice for paragliding pilots and other form of active tourism.

The owners are so warm n we enjoyed their hospitality. The location is peaceful, surrounded by the mountains n it is so beautiful, we enjoyed our stay. The owners also recommeneded good dining areas

Visiting again in 2023

Pension Barbara was the highlight of our four week motorbike tour this summer. The house itself is clean, comfortable, new rooms were excellent and we did not want for anything. However what made Barbara the number one place for us were the excellent hosts. This is the place to be for a fun evening and meeting people on the lovely evening terrace. There is a friendly atmosphere and all guests came to spend evenings on the terrace thanks to our wonderful hosts. We had one too many beers and fun times. Greetings from Helsinki and we look forward to visiting again next summer, your friendly motorbikers from Finland

These are just comments for other motorbikers who may visit: For petrol there is a nice Eni southwest on road 200. For maintenance there is a motoshop called "Scalet" in same direction. I was able to have my chains fixed there. For mountain roads just go south.

Great place to stay

Andelsbuch is a small village surrounded by mountains. There is not much to do in the village itself (there is a good pizzeria), but there are many hiking trails in the mountains. The best thing in Andelsbuch, however, is the Gästehaus-Pension Barbara. It is a quiet and clean place to stay, the rooms have everything you need. Wifi is excellent and breakfast is great. Barbara offers the best eggs and cakes in the world. The owner couple is extremely helpful and pleasant and very very funny. I can recommend Gästehaus-Pension Barbara to everyone. One of the best accommodations I've been to.

Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt.

Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll gestaltet und es gab Besonderheiten , wie z.B. Avocado, verschiedene Dips mit Rohkost, in Schälchen vorbereitetes diverses Obst etc. Die Atmosphäre war herzlich und familiär, die Wirtsleute sehr freundlich , humorvoll und hilfsbereit.

Es war so toll dass ich gleich wieder etwas gebucht habe!

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, sagenhaftes Frühstück und tolle Zimmer mit genügend Handtücher ausgestattet. Ideal war der Skiraum zum trockenen und wärmen der Skiklamotten.

Wünschenswert wäre etwas früheres Frühstück um nicht zu spät zum Skiort anzukommen.

Günstige Lage für Bergsport /Wintersport und Kultur am Bodensee

Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen, Zimmer sehr sauber und ruhig, Wlan gut, Parkplatz sicher und ausreichend am Haus vorhanden, Supermarkt, touristische Infrastruktur, Busverbindung nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, Skikeller mit Heizung vorhanden, Skigebiet Mellau/Damüls in der Nähe, im Sommer mehrere Bergbahnen zu verschiedenen Wanderrouten, Bregenz/Bodensee gut erreichbar, Gastgeber sind sehr informiert über das touristische Angebot und hilfsbereit, Preis/Leistung sehr gut

Das Gästehaus ist familengeführt, super nette, offene und witzige Vermieter. Tolle Stimmung im Haus, klasse Frühstück Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mein schönstes Quartier auf der einwöchigen Motorradreise! Und gleichzeitig preiswert!

Nette zuvorkommende Gastgeber mit vielen tollen Tips zur örtlichen Gastronomie, möglichen Aktivitäten und Motorrad-Tourentips. Das Zimmer war perfekt, inklusive Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Gleitschirm-Fluggebiet. Und eine überdachte Abstellmöglichkeit für das Motorrad ist auch vorhanden. Mein schönstes Quartier auf der einwöchigen Motorradreise!

mooi gelegen gasthouse met prachtig uitzicht en zeer gastvrije eigenaars.

zeer gastvrije eigenaars !. Grote kamer met groot balkon, met prima bedden. Vanuit de tuin heb je een mooi uitzicht op de berg waar de paragliders naar beneden komen. wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt, dus heb daar geen mening over.

de douche was s morgens wat aan de koude kant.
