The hotel was very clean. Large bedroom. loads of hot water.
The staff were brilliant
The chef was very accommodating and combined different vegetarian dishes to give me a variety..brilliant.
The evening food, although limited in choice, was delicious.
Very nice breakfast choice. Hot food not warm enough though.
Issues in our room were dealt with within minutes by the maintenance staff.

We would like to particularly commend the service of Griselda (Restaurant) and Arturo (bar) for making our stay very special. They were so helpful and friendly.
The hotel was in a horrible location.
We were cut off from the coast by the main highway. It was quite a walk to get to the crossing over the motorway.To drive meant dealing with constant traffic jams which reached past our hotel much of the time. The sound of traffic was constant, so having the windows open was not nice. The air-conditioning was not effective making the room stuffy.
The hotel itself was a bit shabby, but new furniture helped in the public areas.
Spa was far too expensive for the majority of people to use on top of the price of the room.
Much of the hotel areas were neglected...the perimeter walls and balcony dividers had integrated planters. They were just full of weeds, giving the old hotel a very tatty look. The wonderful staff made up for the lack of maintenance.
Calling the hotel the Exe Estepona is very deceptive...it's a 15 minute drive to Estapona.
A car is essential to stay at this hotel.

The room was big with a very large balcony. The bed was very comfortable and big.
The lounge chairs on the balcony were not cleaned prior to our visit. The Spa had about 4/5 faulty jets that didn’t work and the sauna wasn’t working. Our room had room for some TLC from broken bath taps to missing tiles and worn out furniture. Also, they advertise ‘soundproof’ which if they mean the rooms, then they are false advertising as we found out. But not an issue at all, just don’t advertise something that is not true.
