Charming apartment above the old town of Besançon

Great location below the Citadelle and close to the Cathedral Comfortable furniture in a charming sitting room Well appointed kitchen Secure parking available at extra reasonable cost in a convenient underground garage Access to communal courtyard

No air conditioning but apartment stayed relatively cool until the last day in a run of hot weather

Very large apartment, perfect for a family with kids. Excellent location. Fully equipped kitchen.

Transport to the appt was very difficult, information we were given about distance to and from buses wa unrelaible. It actually took us 2 hours to get from the station to the apartment. Also the roads after the city centre were in poor repair, steep and difficult to pull bags and then the final disaster was having to climb the Rue du Chapter AND THEN 30 uneven and difficult stairs up to appt. After the first night however we certainly enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Idéal.

Emplacement idéal, très calme, très confortable, déco charmante, très joli, beaux volumes, 2 salles de bain, grand salon, cuisine très bien équipée. Tout était parfait.

Drei Tage voller Ruhe, Kultur und gutem Essen

Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und sehr angenehm mit geräumigen Zimmern. Sie befindet sich in einem historischen Gebäude, wo es absolut ruhig ist und in der Zitadelle. Alles ist sehr detailliert und Catherine, die verantwortliche Person, ist unschlagbar: immer aufmerksam auf alles.

Für uns ist alles sehr gut gelaufen. Wenn überhaupt, ist das Problem, wenn man mit Kindern reist. Die Badezimmer sind etwas klein, es gibt viele Treppen und Schrägen, sowohl um in die Wohnung zu gelangen, als auch um sich in der Fußgängerzone zu bewegen und danach zurückzukehren. Aber, wie gesagt, für uns war das kein Problem: Es hat uns geholfen, Sport zu treiben.
