Domaine Santa Giulia Palace

Awesome view over the gulf of santa giulia. very clean room with big balcony.

Nice place if you're looking for residence and not hotel. The houses are nice and well maintained, cleaned. Upper pool is fantastic and large. Views from balcony are awesome.

Not cheap, and the area is quite large, so while you can park beside your house, walking to the pool with baby/kids and strollers isn't so easy and fast. Also the entire Santa Giulia area is kind of a 1-way street village. Basically 10mn to get in and out of it, which wasn't always ideal.

I liked the comfort of the apartment. The whole area is also well maintained and nice. The guy that showed us the apartment and helped with bags is really nice and pleasant.

They required me to pay upfront via an external payment service, which was really really bad experience. I wanted to cancel but I was not sure how to do it because I chose a non cancelable price.. so, in essence I had to do it even though I never do these... bad bad experience Booking to allow your clients fall into a limbo like this! At the price level, I did not like there was no room service at all... not even changing towels. The pool is too hot, like a hot tub! Not too much shade, all shade is artificial and not so good. Strange interactions while talking to the staff... might be because of the english, I hope.. At the pool bar, they asked if I wanted to put the bill the on room... I said no thanx and wanted to pay by card. Then they gave me the bill to sign it :) That was one big confusion until in the end they managed to somehow explain that it was "normal" to request (although not really required) signing the bills so that the barmen is "sure" they got my order correctly... mama mia!!!

Very friendly and accommodating staff

No umbrellas at the pool, so limited shade. 3 pools full of screaming children… I would have expected 1 adult only pool. Our room door was broken so we could not lock the door inside. Fruit fly infestation inside the room.
