Perfect location, owner was very accommodating and helpful Very interesting lodgings in a working hat making studio, complete one off which was completely unexpected but works really well. Unfortunately we were there only one day so didn’t have the time to really appreciate the total ambiance

Very quirky, arty establishment. Nicely painted in bright impressionist colours. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious modern bathroom. Delightful picnic style breakfast that you can have in the room or outside in the garden/drive. Secure parking. Exceptional and talented hosts - incredible artworks and hats available to view or even buy. I bought an oil painting that I will cherish. Proximity to central square is seconds. For a one night stopover Roanne offered a lovely break. Bars and cafes in the square with twinkling lights and even musical entertainment. 5 mins walk to Loire riverside for a walk in the morning. Our hosts were patient with us over extended check out. Very nice books and magazines provided in the room to peruse. A fridge, water and even cooling off spray - they thought of everything ❤️

Well we arrived on a Sunday so most places closed but there was still sufficient for us. Can’t fault the accomodation especially if you like old fashioned and arty.

The room was very cool which was wonderful as we visited in a heatwave. Bed was comfy. The owners couldn't have been more charming. We even has a tour of their artwork and hat making.

Underground parking is only suitable for a confident driver (who does not forget to change his sunglasses)! Probably best for a small to medium car, not an SUV.
