La Chapelle

Świetne miejsce! Cała posiadłość znajduje się na obrzeżach Orange, w sporym ogrodzie. Mimo położenia zaraz obok osiedla bloków można się poczuć jak w znacznym oddaleniu od miasta. Dom jest ciekawy, kiedyś był skrzydłem pałacyku (zniszczonego w czasie wojny). Oba pokoje dla gości mieszczą się na pierwszym piętrze, z niezależnym wejściem. W korytarzu jest lodówka, czajnik, ekspres do kawy, mikrofalówka i oczywiście talerze, szklanki etc. Można też korzystać z tarasu. Pokój duży, elegancko i wygodnie urządzony - jest wszystko, co potrzebne. Ładna łazienka z dużym prysznicem. Wygodne łóżko. Śniadanie jedliśmy w dawnej kaplicy, pogoda niestety nie sprzyjała posiłkowi w ogrodzie. Śniadanie francuskie, ale gospodyni zadbała też o przyzwyczajenia gości z północy ;-), bo oprócz pieczywa, dżemu, jogurtu, owoców i soku było też kilka plasterków żółtego sera. Gospodyni bardzo życzliwa i kontaktowa, chętnie udzielająca porad co do zwiedzania okolicy.

W zasadzie jedyną wadą jest odległość od starej części miasta, trochę uciążliwa do pokonania na piechotę ;-). I kawa do śniadania mogłaby być lepsza.

Le cadre paisible dès le passage du portail, la jolie chambre tout confort, l'accueil chaleureux et la gentillesse de nos hôtes ont rendu notre séjour parfait. Merci pour vos précieux conseils de visite et pour ce délicieux petit-déjeuner. Encore un grand merci pour ce magnifique séjour ! 🌷

Ik zou het niet weten!

It's a beautiful old building in a very quiet location with beautiful yeard and surrounding area and a wonderful terrace to sit and relax. The room was large and nice. Kind of romantic I would say.

No hand soap, no hairdryer, not a water bottle in the room... It was missing basic stuff you expect to find when you stay somewhere. It feels like an Airbnb. Although it is cute that a granny is the host, when we arrived we had to knock on the doors until someone heard us and gave us the keys because the granny has hearing difficulties. We were very tired from hours of driving and that extra hour of knocking on doors, shouting and trying to reach someone on the phone wasn't fun. The granny is cute but she doesn't speak or understand English at all (thank God one of us speaks French) plus... how can I put this nicely? With old age comes weirdness. She was rude at the checkout with no reason. She knocked on our door loudly and said "ARE YOU WAITING FOR ME TO TELL YOU TO LEAVE???" Where we late? NO, we were not!!! She just wanted us out because the cleaning lady was there! hahaha rude and kind of funny but it is not my kind of thing so I'll pass.
