Clean, big rooms and bathroom. Great that toiletries are provided. reception would get taxis for us.
We booked via booking.com and when we first arrived, the male receptionist kept saying no and waving his hands at us to leave. We tried to explain we had a reservation via Google translate but to no avail. Thankfully we had the WhatsApp number for the owner of our previous hostel, who we called and asked her to explain to this receptionist that we had a booking.
Apparently the receptionist kept saying that we were foreign and he didn’t know what to do with foreigners.
Thankfully our previous hostel owner sorted out the situation for us and we eventually checked in and got a room, but it was a stressful process. perhaps the result of no overseas visitors during covid for two years!?
