Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine est à la parfaite température. La chambre est très propre et literie très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel et Frédéric est vraiment sympathique, très à l’écoute et aux petits soins pour ses clients. J’ai déjà hâte de revenir, on s’y sent comme à la maison.

Tout était parfait

Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Unheimlich familiär. Friedlich. Gemütlich. Leckeres Frühstück. Vor allem die Herzlichkeit des Gastgebers lässt sich Zuhause fühlen. Fantastischer Blick auf das Meer. Angenehm temperierter Pool. Parkplatz. Alles umgibt ein Charme, der uns das Herz erwärmt hat. Wir kommen sicher zurück.

Für uns war es perfekt.

It was clean, in a quiet area and a nice view from our room.

1. It’s difficult to assess from the map and pictures how far this property is from the beach. We were lucky to have a car but you have to drive 15-20 mins to the beach. 2. The price of around £250 a night (2 adults and a child) was way too high for what you get. Note that this was a room in a loft with the roof starting at about 2 m high and going down to about 50 cm within 4,5 m. You cannot really assess this from the pictures. 3. Having the shower in the room, with a child, you have to plan a shower with your partner to have privacy. 4. I am not sure if this was mentioned in the description of this room but we’ve been told off for having dinner on our balcony instead of going outside, on two long and narrow sets of stairs “due to insects coming”. 5. Breakfast was acceptable after the first day when you realise that you have to think of what you would like to eat so the host can cook it for you. He said that in general he has everything but you don’t know what you can get. With a child is difficult to decide what he might want and if he doesn’t like it, you might feel bad for asking for something else. So we ended up with eggs, cheese (small piece of hard parmigiana), ham and 5,6 slices of cucumber. The main option is “continental breakfast” which is made of 1 croissant per person (note that you have to ask if you want more), 1 piece of baguette per person, butter, jams and coffee. 5. In the first night, because we didn’t realise until later in the day, we asked for a different bed sheet to cover ourselves (because the one we had felt like a car cover) and we’ve been told that we will get on in the morning and after that message we’ve been ignored. 6. The aircon didn’t work properly although “new” and we had to ask several times to be fixed but when it worked it was good. 7. For families with kids not very confident on their swimming, note that the pool is very deep. Around 0.5 m from the stairs is around 1 m and then goes deeper.
