Lodge renovations were completed in fall 2023, bringing refreshed comforts to this historic setting. Each cabin provides its own private accommodations, giving families, couples, and friends the opportunity to stay together on one property while still enjoying the added privacy and flexibility of individual cottages.

I wanted to find a place that could house multiple families; giving everybody privacy while still being grouped together. This property was able to check all those boxes given it was a group of cabins listed together and not too motel-like.
The management of it was top notch; communication, checking in and responding to issues were all courteous and speedy.
The issue was the cabins themselves. While cozy and had everything necessary, it’s really dated…. It’s really old. This place could really use a lot of updating, starting with the carpets, the bedding, walls, everything. I wanted the rustic cabin but I got more than I bargained for.
Properly is right next to the lake and it’s really was a wonderful experience, If you can look past the dirty cushions and questionable bedding….and possibly a few bed bugs.
