Brilliant value for money, very helpful staff and excellent amenities

The hostel boasts exceptional facilities, conveniently situated near public transportation, approximately 20 minutes from the city centre. It is situated in a tranquil environment. Accommodations are immaculately clean, and bedding is provided. Additionally, towels, as well as essential items such as adapters and chargers, are available upon request and subject to a deposit. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the hostel offers an interactive screen that facilitates booking and ticket purchases, surpassing the standard of most other establishments for convenience. The front desk remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This location is also close to Kilchberg where the Lindt chocolate factory is. Definitely a must visit for first timers. The staff were very accommodating when I had to leave early in the morning on short notice, they provided me with a ready to go breakfast kit. It was well needed and massively appreciated!

Short but sweet

Great spaces, great staff, great breakfast, definitely clean. It’s a nice big spacious building. Location was really easy for public transport and just a nice spot in general. Free bag storage is very handy and helpful. Was only there for one night but I’d stay here again for sure if I come back to Zurich.

Power points are set in and only take a very specific and odd shaped plug. So I couldnt use my adapter and couldn’t charge anything.

It's a bit away from the city, even though you can reach it by public transport if you want to drop your luggage you'll pay quite a bit in transport fee.

A good quality hostel.

The room was good - en-suite and twin. Plenty of options for trying to keep costs down in an expensive City. WiFi also decent.

Not for youth and moldy bread

Cheap and included breakfast.

This is not a youth hostel, as a female solo traveller I was placed in a room with 4 older men that made me feel very unsafe. Little to no privacy. Was told there was fresh gluten free bread at breakfasts, then was given packaged hard dinner rolls covered in mold. Told chefs and reception, no one seemed to care. Some black mold in showers too.

Very clean, great breakfast, great showers, great lockers, very helpful personnel, free coffee.

The mattress was terrible. Also, you will have to make the bed and remove the sheets on your own, which is hard if someone is sleeping at the bottom bunk and you have the upper bunk. There were no curtains at the beds. Wifi signal was poor in the room. It was not well connected to the center.
