We needed somewhere to stay for a while during the festival, and just finding anything was good enough – but finding something close to the station was absolutely brilliant. And with such a friendly hostess and a fridge stocked with snacks that were regularly replenished – enough for a decent breakfast, even though breakfast wasn’t included – it was nothing short of a miracle. We only shared the bathroom with our neighbour, rather than with all the other guests in the house, which was another huge plus. There’s also a terrace where we had breakfast every day. Despite the railway line being nearby, you can hardly hear it, so our worries were completely unfounded.

There was a bit of a mix-up with the bed linen and towels. There’s nothing we can do about the poor ventilation in the room – we arrived at the height of the heatwave – but something definitely needs to be done about the kitchen; it’s impossible to stay in there when it’s warm.
