Hamiltons Tented Camp

A fabulous place to stay. All the staff were so attentive, every meal was excellent and our guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

I am not sure anything could have been better.

Wonderful location, superb facilities with an ambience that cannot be described. The management and staff were so gracious, helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and to be honest it is very difficult to describe. the whole wonderful experience. We are not newcomers either to Kruger or Sabi Sands and has stayed in many incredible private lodges. Hamilton tinted camp has to be measured amongst the best and certainly value for money. Did we love it? Yes, we did.!!

Well, it was exciting when we couldn’t get out of the camp because of the intense unusual weather and because the river had broken its banks, we had to stay an extra night- and loved it.

Friendly and professional staff, an extremely knowledgeable guide (Nicolas) who went out of his way to make our game drives unforgettable! The managers, Daniel and Jan, were also very helpful, and no request was turned down.

Solar energy instead of diesel generators. The generators are actually within earshot of the lodge.

It was a fabulous location and experience. Everyone was happy, friendly and accommodating. The 'tents' were excellent and the food was very good and varied. Our safari guide, Ryan, was knowledgable, entertaining, and a pleasure to be with. In short, he was exceptional. His amazing sundowners, created and served from the folding table on the front of the Jeep were the highlight of our evenings.

The Leopards. They never bothered to show up - Need to train the animals better !!!!!! :-)
