We loved the lodge, it was simply perfect, small and intimate, very relaxed stay.
We loved everything, the breakfast & Lunches were exceptional good.
They offered a complimentary laundry service which we took advantage of.

Love that it was very cozy with just a small group of guests. The team there is fantastic, everyone went out of the way to make sure we were well taken of, and every meal was great! Game drives were fun with very knowledgeable guides (learnt a lot about the animals than just spotting them) and although it’s a disappointment we couldn’t see lions on our trip, we did manage to spot leopards (which are harder to find) on all three days of our stay! Apart from the big 5 there are actually so many other animals (especially birds!!) that deserve our attention as well. If you are lucky there are animals that come up near the property which you can spot. The gym is small but sufficient.
The wifi could be better at times, but understand the property is situated in the bushes

We loved the everything about the lodge, views were beautiful. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff very exceptionally attentive. Loved that they offered a complimentary laundry service.
We had exceptional game drives, thanks to William and James.

INCREDIBlE game drives!
Gareth & James were the BEST driver/ tracker team we encountered on all our safaris in South Africa.
The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The food was DEFINITELY not up to standard for this caliber of a lodge. Dietary requirements were a joke.
The food at stages tasted like something out of a Mugg & Bean display fridge at a service station. Our waiter was unitive and messed up most of our orders, her uniform was filthy and not washed.
We where unsuccessful in booking a hot air balloon ride , or a photography course or a photo shoot (as advertised on the website) as the office manager ,Siobhan seemed uninterested in helping us saying these activities where unavailable. She did end up booking a bush walk for us..
We ended up booking our own balloon flight.
On departure , we filled out a departure form on our experience. We have given this two months and no one has bothered to reach out and reply.
I think the survey we filled was thrown in the bin…
This was a very disappointing trip for us
