We were off season so it was a bit cold in the room.

pool is fab, staff are great, breakfast delicious. other meals and drinks as requested at the pool/restaurant which is beach side.
felt disappointed by the room. we had a family apartment type room (double and 2 singles), but the bathroom location, required us to disturb the kids. not ideal.
the decor is very tired (not the boutique hotel i had in my mind) and the mattresses are low quality.
this was somewhat offset by the external setting, and service which are both great,
$$$$
