Simple and clean accommodations
We booked this accommodation last minute. The room was big, with a separate living room area. It is very basic but very clean. There is a bar on the premises and a cafeteria. Breakfast was included; dinner was available for a fee. Both were offered in a cafeteria style restaurant. The staff at the front office and in the bar were very helpful and friendly.
The rooms feel like you are staying at a camp, which is what the facility seems to be in the summer. We were there in the winter. The rooms could have offer soap and shampoo. We took the train to the town the hotel was in. We then had to walk 20 minutes to the hotel because there were no taxis available on the day we arrived (due to a storm). So just be prepared to walk 20 minutes if there is not a taxi available.

The staff is very professional and very kind. The location is amazing, the breakfast and dinner are very delicious, and there is a wide choice of tasty foods. The resort is dog-friendly, and they were very kind to our Labrador, Betyár. There are beautiful places in the neighborhood for hiking in the Winter and also in all seasons.
Perhaps it would be nice if BSFZ would offer double rooms with queen or king beds or removable beds for couples.

best place in Obertraun
location is great, there is a nice swimming pool with amazing views, people at reception are super friendly and the food is included, the mountains and the lake are not far from that place. the price is very good for what you get.
the stuff at the restaurant is not friendly at all, the food quality is very average, although these are common problems for this region of Austria

Clean, functional, warm, good location.
Breakfast was very poor. Changed the breakfast times on last day so we were unable to eat as it was too late. Breakfast selection was very poor.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, a very good breakfast. A dinner in the facility's cafeteria can also be recommended.

During my stay at the hotel, there was a group of a sports club with small children who where too noisy. Also there was no equipment in my room ( no soap or shower gel/shampoo, hair dryer). During my checkout, the lady in the reception told me that the room was supposed to be given to the sports club group and it was intentionally empty. (so it was mistakenly empty for me)
