Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Frühstück waren super!

Etwas abgelegen, Zimmer war etwas warm

Man sollte sich klar machen, dass dies ein kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel ist, was sich eher wie eine Frühstückspension anfühlt. Wer den "Charme" eines 08/15-Kettenhotels will, der soll bitteschön woanders hingehen. Ich fand das echt nett. Ganz toll für Fahrradfahrer: Die große Garage samt Steckdosen für's Ladegerät. super! So weit sind viele andere Hotels noch nicht. Frühstücksbüffet ist klein, weil nicht so viel Platz ist, dafür bekommt man aber auch was direkt frisch zubereitet am Platz serviert. Hat was, gefällt mir! Und, wichtig: Geräumige Zimmer! Mit einem richtigen Schrank!! Und Sessel, wo man auch drinne sitzen kann!!! Ich hasse mittlerweile diese mordsmäßig gestylten Ketten-Hotels, wo die Zimmer kleiner sind als meine seinerzeitige Bude im Studentenwohnheim, und es aber noch nicht mal einen richtigen Schrank gibt und kein Platz da ist für einen Koffer, und überhaupt nüchtern wie eine Jugendherberge sind. Aber Preise verlangen, wie alle anderen wirklich großen und gescheiten (I'm looking at you, Moxy!) Viel lieber Jellentrup! ;-)

Mir gefallen vor allem diese komischen, negativen Bewertungen anderer Leute hier nicht, die offenbar die Beschreibung des Hotels nicht richtig gelesen oder verstanden haben. Wenn ich es blöd finde, dass die Rezeption nicht nach 18:00h geöffnet ist, dann wähle ich ein anderes Hotel - motze aber nicht hinterher rum. Was soll denn der Schwachsinn! Dito die Tatsache, dass kein Aufzug vorhanden ist. Alles bekannt! Mir hat nicht gefallen, dass die Müllabfuhr in aller Frühe da war und etwas laut war. Aber - bitte - so ist das halt mal. ;-)

It shows that this is a family business. Everyone is dedicated to making your stay comfortable and pleasant. Check-in is uncomplicated. The rooms are simple, but very clean and nice attention to detail. A hot water cooker and selection of tea in the room was welcome. Despite being in town/on the street, the room is quiet at night. Breakfast is beautifully presented and very generous. The wait staff are attentive and remember your preferences. Due to the size of the dining room, you coordinate a time to eat breakfast, but you don’t feel rushed and everything is continually refreshed. There is a small private parking lot, on a first-come, first-served basis. There is free parking directly in front of the hotel and across the street. The area is safe. If you like walking, it is possible to walk into town. It would be very easy to get around town by bicycle. Good location, easy to find, comfortable stay, great breakfast, and a really pleasant experience.
