Cadell On The Murray Motel

The unit was spotless and very large. Wonderful to be able to walk out the back to a grassed area overlooking the Murray River. Great for enjoying a peaceful afternoon drink as the sun goes down.

The property was very quiet on banks of river with units spread out. Rooms were clean & fresh.

Backed on to the Murray River. Beautiful location. Enjoyed the outdoor facilities.

Water trickled out of an outdated shower head. Metal chairs with no cushions indoors for dining. Unsafe for anyone using shower, as there was no hold rail, tiny knob on door and slippery tiles when wet and soapy. Only a shampoo dispenser, no liquid soap or conditioner, even though it was stated that toiletries are provided. A tiny microwave on a very low shelf. Minimal crockery, instant tea and coffee. Lacking in generosity and consideration. Towelling was adequate and fresh. Lack of care with making the bed. Bottom sheet wasn't folded or tucked under, thus scrunched up when sleeping. Overall, because I craved tranquility and escapism, on this occasion, Cadell delivered, due to the garden and location. It could be so much better if a little more care was taken with the personal touch and treats. A great place to stay if you like barbecues, and if that's the case, you'll need to bring everything except for plates, forks and knives. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you
