Minor issues resolved early on

This riad is a real hidden gem. Despite being in the heart of the souk, it was easy to find, spotlessly clean, and peaceful. The staff—Abdul Jnr, Zaynib, and Abdul—were exceptional and showed genuine Moroccan hospitality. Airport pickup was seamless, and they even accommodated a late breakfast on my first morning. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with orange juice, tea, pastries, Moroccan bread, jams, and eggs. My room (“Adam”) was comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, a seating area, and adjustable lighting. I highly recommend taking Abdul Jnr’s offer of a local guide on your first day—I declined and ended up dealing with unofficial guides and unwanted sales pitches. There are plenty of affordable restaurants and cafés just a short walk away. As a lovely bonus, I was allowed to keep my room until 3 pm on check-out day at no extra charge. This was my best stay in Morocco, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The staff were very nice and kind, some times too kind!

The room had a bed smell and the also the blanket. The bed sheets were clean. Bathroom, is ridiculous small, not space for shower and the shower head was tiny, also no hot water. I went in January and it was cold. The heater in the room was not working properly so the next day I was moved to another room. The location was not the best, far away from the Medina but it was a historical area.
