    I booked 2 rooms in Vista Nakajimakoen during peak season for Sapporo’s winter festival and got an amazing deal (I booked months in advance). The location is amazing, the hotel is right beside the beautiful Nakajima Park, across Seicomart (Hokkaido-exclusive convenience store) and near Nakajimakoen station. The building is easy to spot once you exit the station. Important to know: if you’re coming from Nakajimakoen station, depending on where you exit, you will have to pass through stairs. If you have plenty of heavy luggage, it will be a workout to get out of the train station. If you want to avoid this, take the exit that leads straight to the park as that has elevators. If you need extra pillows, blankets, towels and toiletries - the hotel staff is quite generous and will provide for your needs. They make the beds every 4th day of your stay. They also provide 2 key cards if 2 people are staying in 1 room. I had a wonderful stay and I would recommend Hotel Vista Sapporo Nakajimakoen. Thanks for your hospitality!

    Hotel is near a subway station and that is the only good thing about this hotel. First, cleaning is only done every 4 nights of stay. We stayed for 9 nights and we only experienced new sheets for 1 day. You can request for cleaning the day before and I did, but still no one cleaned the room, so I complained. There was some confusion, but they did it the next day, sloppily. Under the bed it was so dusty that I think, the last time it was cleaned was when the hotel was built. 3rd, I asked a staff one morning if they have a trash can where I can throw my cup, and they told me to go to the 2nd floor (laundry room) to throw it. They didnt offer to throw it for me or to go the restroom in the lobby where there's bin. And guess what, that night, I went to the 2nd floor and there is no effin trash can in their laundry room. 3rd, the pillows are like decades old. I cant describe it better. So yeah. There are a lot of better hotels in the area. For the rate I got, this was below mediocre.

    Having checked the facilities in Agoda, parking would be available when I booked this hotel. However, when I checked in, the staff told us that parking was no longer available. We needed to spend a lot of times to look for parking that night.
