Quiet Location, but Some Comfort Issues
The hotel is located at the end of the port area in a relatively quiet location. The room was clean and included a kettle. There was a narrow balcony and blackout shutters. We appreciated the option to store our luggage before the check-in time.
It took a while to reach the reception staff when we arrived. The staff were helpful, but communication in English was difficult. Our twin room had very narrow beds and a very small bathroom. The hotel has no air conditioning, and the room was quite hot, so we had to sleep with the window open, which made it hard to sleep due to constant seagull noise.

Very pleasant accommodation
Our room was a good size with a side view of the harbour. The bed was super-comfy. We used both the restaurant and the Somar bistro which provided excellent meals.

we will come back - took the train from Nantes - a perfect location for a short break
extremely helpful staff, allowed us to check in early. breakfast in their local restaurant was absolutely stunning. excellent buffet and a wide choice of quality food
