The staff were friendly and helpful. We had asked for safe storage for our electric bikes and they willingly complied with this important request. We thought the hotel might be a little tired at the end of the season but were pleasantly surprised by how clean and tidy it was.
Everything was fine

I have used this hotel before, when it was under the BritHotel banner. However, now it is a Best Western, it is much better. The reception staff were extremely helpful, and the restaurant was excellent - great food and service. I used it both as a stopover when returning from Switzerland and for exploring the local area. I shall use it again when returning to Roscoff, which is less than 30 minutes drive away.
All was good. The only improvement would be the provision of a luggage trolley, but I managed without one.

Excellent Infrastructure, very friendly staff. The gym is small, but perfectly equipped with newest TechnoGym devices. The room is very modern and in high quality outfitted.
All in all nothing

The room was very clean and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent customer service.
Dinner from the A La Carte menu was disappointing in terms of quality for the main course.

No staff, restaurant closed even though we had booked a table on our arrival. No one contacted us to inform us that there was nowhere to eat having driven 309 klm

I have stayed at this hotel several times before, when it was a Brithotel, but it has improved since it became one of the Best Western family. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was given a room close to the lift as I had requested. Dinner on the restaurant was very enjoyable and the service was good, despite the fact that there was only one waiter, who seemed a little over-worked.
The hotel is only about 25 minutes drive from the Roscoff Ferry Terminal, and I shall use it in future when returning to the UK by boat.
My only criticism, which is minor, is that there are no baggage trolleys - this was only an issue because I was recovering from a broken ankle at the time, and a trolley would have made my stay more comfortable - perhaps the hotel will buy a couple before my next planned visit in October!

Great location and excellent breakfast. Secure place to leave our bicycles.
Pity the restaurant was not open in the evening.

Nice breakfast room and a great Dining room.
Very disappointed that the Dining Room was not open on Sunday, the day or arrival. We had not been advised of this and would not have booked with you if we had known.

All double rooms are located on the first floor, only junior suites and appartments are located on second (but as good as not available commonly, just for nice photos on booking.com?)
The rooms (with view to the bay = even numbers) are large, clean and air conditioned, the bathroom large and well equipped.
Very comfortable double bed, no balcony, minuscule cooler (3x 1 L bottles), free WiFi available (not used).
A spacious elevator is available (good if you carry 10 bags/trunks simultaneously). Good restaurant with fair prices on premises, sauna available for up to 10 persons simultaneously (no exclusive reservation, not used), fitness room available (not used).
Surroundings...
1. no beach nearer than (at least) 2 km.
There are several nice little beaches (Porsmeur, etc.), but you have to drive (+find a parking place) to reach them.
2. the Brit Hotel is a good choice if you bring your bike with you. Pont Christ has as good as no sidewalks, so for ex. walking to the Intermarche to buy your preferred mineral water (some 600 m from the Brit Hotel) is almost an adventure (due to traffic on the narrow streets, all day through). Practically almost nobody walks here, but drives instead. If you want to wander (walking, hiking), there is a path towards Cote Sauvage, beach of Porsmeur etc. starting directly in front of the hotel, on the edge of the bay. We used Komoot as a practical navi tool to secure our way (but you can do without, no risk of drowning I daresay). The first part might be muddy, afterwards ok; and by the way, during our one week stay we never saw (from the room window) the bay filling with water, even on high(est) tide.
3. restaurants in Plouescat: we found La Danteliere creperie suiting us well, but you need to make reservations. They are open only at noon for some 2h, and in the evening for 3h (starting 7 p.m, closed Tue&Wed).
On rainy days there is not much to do in Plouescat.
Bitching: the very friendly reception staff (1-2 pers.; basically the same person all day through) covers all services: offering practical advice, serving at the bar, make reservations and helping in the restaurant etc. They will copy your passport when you arrive, but you ought to ask it immediately back. Otherwise it might happen that they forget about returning it (as they are overcharged), and you have to ask for it back explicitly the next days during your stay. No hard feelings, just facts. HTH.

Lovely staff who work very hard to be welcoming. Great restaurant. Nice position on the beach. The rooms are nothing special but comfortable.
Great to have a kettle and coffee in the room.... a few regular tea bags would make this facility perfect!

Very accepting of our large dog. Bed exceptionally comfortable and bed linen good quality and spotlessly clean. Good size room with sea view.Restaurant good. Check in/ out very easy. Location is superb and so quiet.
Room could have had bit more room as we had large dog with us, probably because lots of storage provided, so double edged sword.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Dinner was good quality. Female receptionist was helpful.
1. When we tried to check out female receptionist was busy on phone. Two male staff behind the desk were having a conversation with another male (staff?) In front of the desk and they completely ignored us and continued their conversation. We had to wait over 5 minutes before the busy receptionist was able to deal with us. 2. Shower tray was stirred and drained poorly. 3. Bike storage was in the conference room. There was no dedicated locked room. 4. Dinner was expensive (€19 for main €10 for dessert)

the spa
double room (standard room) is ridiculously small. The upgrade to suite was far overpriced.

Rooms were newly renovated and comfortable. Enjoyed the hotel restaurant since location is a bit remote.
Staff was efficient but not the most welcoming and warm. Hardly any explanation about the facility.

The only reason for using this hotel is its proximity to Roscoff ferry port (approximately a 25 minute drive) and its on-site private parking.
I had asked, when booking, to advise me by email if the restaurant would be closed on the night of my stay. They failed to do so, but when I arrived they announced that the restaurant was closed. When asked, the manager said that, because I had booked through Booking.com, it was not possible for them to send me emails. However, later in the evening, a receptionist claimed that she had sent me an email. I checked my emails and found no sign of an email from them.
The hotel advertises a 24 hour front desk, but reception closed at 2300h and I was told that the morning staff would arrive at 0600h. I explained that I would have to leave at 0600h for the ferry, and was shown an alternative route out of the hotel. At 0600h the next morning there was no sign of any staff and the exit through reception was locked (even though it was a fire exit). Had I not been shown the alternative means of leaving the hotel I would have been trapped inside and would have missed the ferry.

It was a late booking due to a ferry delay. Ourselves and pet dog were welcomed and my wife and I had a very tasty meal in the restaraunt.

Dinner was only mediocre, the staff weren’t overly friendly and were definitely not pleased that we arrived for dinner later in the evening.
