Separate rooms from the main building. Large lawn children can play safely. Big safe parking space. 24hr front desk with very friendly staff.
It is located in a rural, farming area. Nature smell from nearby barns would linger.. It disappeared completely in the evening. No guests next door, so we enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful evening. Terrace overlooking outdoor pool was spacious. Broken chair in the terrace should be replaced or fixed quickly (dangerous when dark).

The hotel is beautiful, a stunning old building. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden, with a balcony and a large bathroom with a bath. The garden and pool looked lovely, although it was too cold for us to make any use of them!
We were travelling by bicycle, and the hotel offered secure bike storage inside an outbuilding.
The hotel staff were very friendly and offered recommendations and encouraged us to use the communal areas of the hotel - we did, met other guests and had an enjoyable evening.
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was nice and provided good fuel for an active day.
By the nature of the old building, the soundproofing between rooms is not fantastic.

We didn’t like a dinner, it was expensive for such basic plates
