Schlosshotel Dörflinger

Lovely stay at a old charming hotel, but with all the mod comms. Very friendly staff as well as a very sufficient breakfast, where you even could choose to have it on the balcony with a view. It couldn't get better. Plenty of parking, short way to walk into town. Umbrellas offered complimentary when it rains. You can also get the guest card for the area from reception.

Nearly everything was perfect. The room was extremely spacious, welcoming, and clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of local and fresh products. The staff members I interacted with were very friendly. Finally, the location is optimal, just a 10-15min walk from the train station - just bear in mind that if you climb up the hill, there are a lot of stairs, but the gorgeous view is definitely worth it!

The only thing bringing down the grade to a 9 is the rather slow wifi, but that did not impact my experience too much.

Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast & the restaurant food was outstanding, the chef is fantastic.

Rooms are ‘tired’ … chipped woodwork & bathroom looks 1970 vintage, although very clean

It’s a jewellery box kind of a hotel that feels like it’s got stuck in the past but remained modern and fancy at the same time! It’s very well equipped, on a great location, has fantastic breakfast and kind staffed.
