The hotel is across a road at the back of the beach and perfectly placed for a diving experience or getting a ferry. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was simple and functional. The outdoor dining are is nice although the pool is right by the road.
The hotel food was average. Padang Bai is an active port and not really a resort destination. The beach and nearby Blue Lagoon have good sand but disappear at high tide.

Padangbai location on the water in quieter area. Everything was there that you need, including unlimited water from a dispenser in your room (less plastic waste). Restaurant has lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Short walkbto Blue Lagoon and sunrise at the nearby temple. Very comfortable stay.

Very comfortable bed and big pillow and thin pillow , big bathroom but limited hot water
Long stairs up to room , hard and dangerous with luggage , felt price a little high for hotel , restaurant expensive

We were booked to get the ferry from Padangbai to Gili T, so we booked Absolute Scuba for one night. It was close to the port and taxi was easy to get from hotel reception.
Location is not good for ‘tourism’, only booked due to it being at the port for early ferry. Not many places to eat for dinner, hotel has a restaurant but we only got a pizza (nice pizza actually). Towels had a bad smell so didn’t feel the cleanest. Wouldn’t have stayed any longer than 1 night here. It passes as a stop off point for ferry use, but would not recommend for anything else.
