This is a really special place to stay . It oozes old world charm . The owners Jane and Alan were so welcoming , accommodating and made you feel special .Do stay for dinner Jane’s cooking is excellent and the dining room is beautiful with its tall ceilings ,huge window and period features. The rest of the house similar - the wooden staircase definitely makes you want to glide down in your ball gown but no worries dinner in jeans and jumper were fine ! You can even play croquet if you fancy.
There is nothing not to like if you are able to enjoy what it is . But if boutique ,pristine modern or commercial chains are your thing you’d hate it!
