Location was great, had access to all the main regions by car. Easy to do day trips + kayaking. Hôtel was very clean and had good amenities.

Really beautiful property, and very modern and large room with stylish touches. We loved the pool areas (there are 2 very nice pools!) and the gardens/grounds are just stunning too. The buffet breakfast was high quality with a great selection of food. The location means you're a little 'trapped' as you can't really stroll into town for a restaurant or cafe. But that's the payoff being a chateau on a large property!
We also enjoyed the restaurant, but felt it was a little over the top with multiple courses degustation. We would have been happy with something simpler a la carte. It was quite expensive in the end for the food and drinks that we had, and it definitely wasn't the best meal of our trip.

Very friendly cleaner, he gave us good tips for the area.
It has definitely changed since we were last here lost its quaint and chateau feel gone very commercial
