We recently stayed at this hotel. The location is great—just a 15-minute walk from the bus station—and the breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of food to choose from. In the room there was a kettle for tea and coffee which was great. The room was clean and big. Our room was on the 2nd floor, but due to renovations, we couldn’t access it directly. Instead, we had to take an elevator to the 5th floor, walk across the building, and then take a second elevator back down to the 2nd floor. This wasn’t just inconvenient—it added at least 5 minutes every time we wanted to go up or down, especially frustrating during the busy breakfast hours when elevators were packed. The receptionist informed us about this routing with no apology or attempt to offer an alternative, which was disappointing. On top of that, the TV in our room didn’t work. When we mentioned it during checkout, the staff responded with, “It didn’t work?”—which made it obvious they already knew about the issue but hadn’t done anything to fix it or let us know in advance.
